Was good but now I can't find my downloads just shows every show for the podcast I like. I have to forcefully shut the app down as it is constantly running in the back ground. When the downloads was showing sometimes they would just disappear and you would have to pay for the download again with your data or wi-fi
Stopped working this week. Tries and fails to "prepare audio".

An account to listen to radio???? No no no no. Never. Uninstalling
I use the global player app mainly to listen to LBC, mostly downloading the catch up shows. Over the past week or so the app has become unusable. When I download any show, the percentage indicator climbs... When it gets to around 90% it pauses and never moves again, or it climbs sometimes towards 100% and then then it's shows the stop square to the left, when I press it, it goes back to zero % and starts again... With no change and continues on this cycle.
They make you create an account to listen, and when you click the link that says "why do I have to create an account?", they don't answer the question. They essentially say "it's annoying, but easy, so do it". They mention nothing about data harvesting or building a profile of you on a database that can help them predicted things like the way you vote and using targeted advertisements to sway you, which are the actual reasons they want you to sign in. It's to sell your data.

After a certain amount of time, it stops...I have uninstalled and reinstalled....makes no difference..very disappointed!!
Uninstalled due to being forced to make an account to continue listening. Hey corporate, not interested in having a million accounts for every little thing just to enable you to sell details and email addresses to all and sundry
